Contact us
To request information, a correction or deletion of information held by MiamiPDScanner, email miamipdscanner@gmail.com with the subject “MiamiPDScanner data request.” You do not need an account on this website to contact us. Requests are reviewed manually; this page is not an automated deletion callback.
What to include
Tell us which service or application your request concerns, what action you want and enough detail to locate the record. A relevant account name, public post link or approximate date can help. If you are the owner of a connected publishing account, identify that account and the connected application. Applications may appear under names including MiamiPDScanner Reels, MiamiPDScanner Alerts, YouTube Marker or MPDScannerBeeps.
Send only what is necessary. Do not send a password, authentication code, access token, app secret or identity document. We may ask for reasonable evidence that you own the account or are authorized to make the request, using a method appropriate to the information involved.
What happens next
We review the request, identify information within our control and explain the action we can take. Depending on the request, this may include correcting or deleting eligible local records, removing unnecessary stored copies, or ending access for a connected account. Applicable law and provider requirements govern the handling of each request. We will communicate with you if we need clarification or cannot carry out part of it.
A request to remove locally held API data is different from a request to remove a public post. Please say if you also want us to review something published by MiamiPDScanner. This process does not automatically remove material from other services, delete another person’s posts or account, or erase all independently captured public radio material.
Revoke connected-app access
If you authorized an application with Google, you can review and revoke its access in Google Account permissions. You can also request removal of stored copies from MiamiPDScanner through the email process above. Deleting our stored information does not delete information stored by YouTube; use YouTube’s own account and content controls for that.
For Facebook and Instagram, review the connected apps or business integrations in your Meta account settings. For X, review connected applications in the account’s security settings. Removing an application ends the permission available to it according to that platform’s controls; email us separately about information already retained by MiamiPDScanner. Do not remove an organization’s publishing integration unless you are authorized to do so, as this can interrupt its publishing.
Telegram account, bot and channel controls operate within Telegram. Blocking a bot or leaving a channel does not automatically delete posts or stored operational records. We do not collect Telegram audience data for analytics.
Website Analytics choices
Use “Analytics preferences” to turn optional website Analytics off. A browser sending Global Privacy Control keeps this measurement off. The preference is stored in that browser, so other browsers or devices may have different choices. A browser preference change stops the relevant future measurement; it is not an automatic erasure of previously collected reports.
More information
Read the Privacy Policy for the categories of information involved, the services we use and the distinction between our radio source material and provider-returned account information. Contact miamipdscanner@gmail.com if you are unsure which kind of request applies.
